Thekoreanjjang: I saw more lip synching than live, but Jiyeon’s performances really depends on her mood as well. When shes smiling, she glows like Eunjung, but when shes listless it kinda brings down their whole performance.

Jiyeon is better than Yoona at almost everything (dancing, singing, acting, personalities not to mention she know taekwondo) except for visual (cause she still young and developing and I think she will be prettier than Yoona in the future). It’s OBVIOUSLY that Jiyeon is WAY MORE talented than Yoona. I don’t know why people just rank true talent according to look and their groups. That’s my opinion, no offense.
I know that YoonA is mainly known for her visuals, but that is because SM Entertainment chooses to market her that way. In reality, her live singing isn’t bad at all. And although she’s known for being really cute, her mature side is very friendly as well. Not to mention, while Hyoyeon is SNSD’s main dancer, YoonA pulls off all the dances moves while looking really smooth, as if they’re the easiest moves of all time. Ever since Cry Cry, I’ve started to LOVE Jiyeon, but that doesn’t stop me from appreciating YoonA’s talents. In other words, I feel offended…saying one person is better than the other in everything…that’s meant to be offensive, you know it, and adding two words at the end reading “no offense” doesn’t help.

I’m one of those crazy SONES, but Jiyeon is beyond gorgeous (don’t get me wrong, Yoona is also pretty.) I don’t know why, but Jiyeon is more of a natural beauty and based on acting, she’s amazing as well. They’re both multitalented, I won’t argue about that! 😀

indeed. Just because you like one group doesn’t mean you can’t like another. That’s kind of the point of this whole debate. Far too often it seems like fans just blindly vote for their favorite idols, but it’s nice to step back and look at things objectively. Pre-HwaGate, T-ara was my favorite group, even though Jessica is my favorite idol.
Yoona 🙂 I like T-ara too, but Yoona just has that… feel, that captures me into her. She stands out quite alot, and she’s really really pretty in alot of pictures. Her personality is also down-to-earth. I heard from Jiyeon fans that Jiyeon is really great, and i believe she is, but for some reason, she just doesn’t grasp my attention like how Yoona does. =) Either way, I support both. But my vote goes to Yoona 🙂

Please….. Yoona lets the playback music over power her. Jiyeon has improved a lot, jiyeon can actually sing very good high notes. Yoona only stands well she dances, jiyeon dances and sings. honestly, recent pictures of Jiyeon make her look like a slut! Sorry, but sluttiness doesn’t cut it for me. Her innocence image is disappearing. I used to like her but i dunno…Yoona’s face remained the same and her facial expressions are what captures everyone’s attention, like she doesn’t care how she’d look on tv. Jiyeon’s eye makeup enhances her, but without it, it’s pretty ordinary.
Aww…SNSD vs T-ARA VISUAL? hmmm…JIYEON for me..well I know SNSD even before I became a K-pop fan, & I know Yoona because I’ve seen her already in dramas, to be honest I only found Jiyeon in Dream High 2, after that I became a fan of her instantly, just like how Suzy impressed me after I watched her in Dream High, Jiyeon brought the same feeling to me after I watched Dream High 2, but I started to appreciate her more & love her more after watching some of T-ara’s music videos, performances & shows. I even brought “Master of Study” DVD as well after I found out Jiyeon was one of the main cast of the series…her beauty is exceptional, something that the longer you stared at her she’s become more prettier. Well I love SNSD, & I like Yoona as well, but for me Jiyeon is much way better & much more talented. Jiyeon is not only the visual or the FACE of T-ara, she’s also the main dancer of the group, plus she can sing more confidently & to be honest I love her voice although she don’t have that strong vocal range, she’s a great actress as well, plus she’s a black belter in taekwondo, yes Yoona is good in singing, good in dancing & good in acting but for me Jiyeon is much way better…in looks, yes Yoona is pretty, but for me Jiyeon is way prettier, at the same time she’s so damn cute…so my vote goes to Jiyeon.

Jiyeon xD She is cute, talented and playful ❤ Without make-up she is much younger and cuter like in GOD but the make-up is too heavy so the difference is quite big, made some think she's ugly. My vote is for Jiyeon and here are the reasons:
1.- In beauty to me, Jiyeon is more pretty. Her factions are well defined: the shape of her face, her high nose, etc. With makeup (eyeliner) she looks like a cold-cool girl. Without makeup she looks more cute and younger and still looks really pretty.
Yoona won many tops of beauty voted by fans, but Jiyeon won the first place in “The best-looking female Idol” voted by others Idols.

Jiyeon is better than Yoona at almost everything (dancing, singing, acting, personalities not to mention she know taekwondo) except for visual (cause she still young and developing and I think she will be prettier than Yoona in the future). It’s OBVIOUSLY that Jiyeon is WAY MORE talented than Yoona. I don’t know why people just rank true talent according to look and their groups. That’s my opinion, no offense.
I know that YoonA is mainly known for her visuals, but that is because SM Entertainment chooses to market her that way. In reality, her live singing isn’t bad at all. And although she’s known for being really cute, her mature side is very friendly as well. Not to mention, while Hyoyeon is SNSD’s main dancer, YoonA pulls off all the dances moves while looking really smooth, as if they’re the easiest moves of all time. Ever since Cry Cry, I’ve started to LOVE Jiyeon, but that doesn’t stop me from appreciating YoonA’s talents. In other words, I feel offended…saying one person is better than the other in everything…that’s meant to be offensive, you know it, and adding two words at the end reading “no offense” doesn’t help.

honestly, recent pictures of Jiyeon make her look like a slut! Sorry, but sluttiness doesn’t cut it for me. Her innocence image is disappearing. Aww…SNSD vs T-ARA VISUAL? hmmm…JIYEON for me..well I know SNSD even before I became a K-pop fan, & I know Yoona because I’ve seen her already in dramas, to be honest I only found Jiyeon in Dream High 2, after that I became a fan of her instantly, just like how Suzy impressed me after I watched her in Dream High, Jiyeon brought the same feeling to me after I watched Dream High 2, but I started to appreciate her more & love her more after watching some of T-ara’s music videos, performances & shows. I even brought “Master of Study” DVD as well after I found out Jiyeon was one of the main cast of the series…her beauty is exceptional, something that the longer you stared at her she’s become more prettier. Well I love SNSD, & I like Yoona as well, but for me Jiyeon is much way better & much more talented. Jiyeon is not only the visual or the FACE of T-ara, she’s also the main dancer of the group, plus she can sing more confidently & to be honest I love her voice although she don’t have that strong vocal range, she’s a great actress as well, plus she’s a black belter in taekwondo, yes Yoona is good in singing, good in dancing & good in acting but for me Jiyeon is much way better…in looks, yes Yoona is pretty, but for me Jiyeon is way prettier, at the same time she’s so damn cute…so my vote goes to Jiyeon.

woah~ they’re both gorgeous. Yoona is pretty & innocent-looking while Jiyeon is a goddess. No doubt they’re the top female visuals. I like Yoona, but I love Jiyeon. She’s pretty amazing for me. Jiyeon can look like an innocent girl or a bad one. For Yoona, she’s only suited for a good girl type. So in my opinion, Jiyeon is better. I think Yoona and Jiyeon are really pretty. Who is the most beautiful, depending on the opinion of their fans.
Yoona is an angel. She was in great company (SM). She has good personality and good reputation. She always play as lead role in K-drama. Everyone love her.
Compare than Yoona, Jiyeon was in worst company (CCM). She has worst reputation dan many scandal. She just became supporting actress ini K-drama. Many people hate her. But talk about talent, I think Jiyeon is better. She is a main dancer in T-ara. Even Mnet Media said Jiyeon was the best dancer of them until now. In acting, she always plays different character. Ya but jiyeon is a better package then Yoona. Jiyeo pn is a better actress all I really she Yoona playing is the good character in the role. Jiyeon though plays good and bad. Jiyeon of course is a better dancer, she performs better in every concert because she makes very concept fit her, unlike Yoona. And the one thing jiyeon can do is have a the chorus in a song. She’s been having the chorus in T-ara’s sound like: beautiful sniper, déjà-vu, bunny style. And know that areum left T-ara(😟) she has some rap parts. She even performed her solo japanese song My Sea, and it’s an excellent performance. But for that we cannot jump into conclusions (singing) because Yoona gets short lines in the songs. I have to say they are tied for looks but I lean more to jiyeon because of age. Jiyeon still has time to improve her already pretty looks, while Yoona is pretty but the only way she can change is plastic surgery. Just saying for people that say Jiyeon had plastic surgery well….. She didn’t, the make up technique she uses and hair sylte make her face shape and features look different. And the same thing goes for Yoona.

What I can see on the comments, is that the opinion of Jiyeon fans is based (the mostly) on talent-skills without offending or saying nasty things to Yoona. On the other hand, the fans of Yoona end up offending to Jiyeon, saying ignorant and nasty things. (Not all, but most.)
My vote is for Jiyeon and here are the reasons:
1.- In beauty to me, Jiyeon is more pretty. Her factions are well defined: the shape of her face, her high nose, etc. With makeup (eyeliner) she looks like a cold-cool girl. Without makeup she looks more cute and younger and still looks really pretty.
Yoona won many tops of beauty voted by fans, but Jiyeon won the first place in “The best-looking female Idol” voted by others Idols.

Yoona has a super skinny body in my opinion and for that she lost points to me, but don’t misunderstand me, even so I think Yoona is very pretty.
Everybody have different taste and opinions; the beauty is in the eye of the beholder at the end. 🙂
2.- In singing, actually both of them are not the best vocalist, but Jiyeon’s voice is better than Yoona. Jiyeon has a unique voice, is husky and soft also can do high notes. I love her voice in ballads and don’t forget even that Jiyeon is the first visual to go in solo.
3.- In dancing, I think both of them are really good, but I go with Jiyeon because she’s the main dancer in T-ARA. She learns faster the coreography and in variety shows she learned to dance poppin and b-boy in few time surprising her coaches. “Jiyeon learns in a fast speed. If she is told that she needs to dance a Michael Jackson dance on New Year special program, she monitors the Michael Jackson choreography despite the busy schedule and learns it perfectly. 4.- In acting, both of them are good too. Jiyeon’s dream was to be actress and now she’s a very good and versatile actress. She also can play in all genre: romantic, comedy, horror, action, etc. In terms of acting, Jiyeon has more experience than Yoona.
Yoona is protagonist in her dramas, but she always play as the good and innocent person. So, one more time, Jiyeon is better to me. Plus I think Jiyeon did a excellent job in Painkiller MV.
